I cannot stand lucid dreams

I’ve had a lucid dream twice. BOTH times, i’ve suddenly realised i’m in a dream and have thought “HURRY THINK OF SOMETHING QUICK” and before i can even think of something the whole room around me goes dark and depressing. It’s like i have control but i don’t.
