Apartments with townhomes/soundproofed walls?

Looking to move to Chandler from Tempe. I have misophonia and am really sensitive to noise from neighboring apartments, especially bass. I realize this makes most apartments non-options, but I don't want to entirely discount the idea if someone has experience living in a complex where they've done really good soundproofing and you don't get a lot of noise transfer. I currently have a top floor corner unit that is mostly great but I still get the occasional bass through the one shared wall, so I'm hoping to find a townhome...

I've been doing all the zillow/trulia research but I'm looking for lived experiences because this isn't really something you can learn while doing a tour or general research.

I'm also considering houses but I like having amenities like a gym and pool and getting a deal on a lease. Thanks for any recos.
