my partner lives in alberta and is being sued in bc

i need help and resources. we are low income and cannot afford a lawyer. We have 21 days to respond to a notice of civil claim regarding a frivolous lawsuit with the supreme court of bc on false allegations regarding undue influence of a will & all the resources we have found are for bc are for residents only. My next step is looking at alberta resources but i fear they are going to turn us away also since its under bc law. We dont have the money to just pick and choose a lawyer. Please help.
