What is your preferred early game method to mesuda hunting?

I'm currently starting a shiny only run on insane. I've been running through this game on every difficultly and am now on insane and want to do a shiny only run. I have my shiny ditto from another save and want to start mesuda hunting.

The way I've been hunting is by getting 100 eggs in the daycare, saving it before collecting them, collect them, head to creater town for the KBT expressway and go back and forth from the first side entrance you get to.

So my question is what is your guys method for mesuda shiny hunting. Do you do something different? Is there something different I should do to make this easier to hunt?
