Is getting a passport appointment just as difficult as getting a citizenship appointment?

Trying for Miami. I ran myself ragged trying to get a citizenship appointment. I am one of the lucky ones who got one and got my citizenship. I was hoping the passport process would be less of a headache but it seems like the same thing. Just log in at the set times and days and hope you're the lucky one that day. Sigh.
