New to Hellenism : My Unexpected Connection with Goddess Tyche

Okay, so I am pretty new here. I know the basics about Greek mythology and God, but I wouldn't consider myself very knowledgeable, so to say. The basic idea of writing this post actually, I'm a tarot reader, and I did not get into deity work because I did not know which deity was right for me, and how to do it for them. Plus, I don't have much space in my home right now, so that seems like a problem.

But I just did something, and how things have worked out is just a little amazing and surprising. So, I just, like, this thought popped into my mind, and I just made an offering to Goddess Tyche , the Goddess of Fortune. I did not know anything about her it's just like she popped into my mind, and I did a Google search, looked at what things I had at home, and just made an offering.

So, please don't be harsh on me, and you can definitely correct me if I am wrong. I would appreciate that, and I would like to learn.

So, me, as a naive 19-year-old, what I did was light a candle in her name. I kept a fruit, a few coins, and a few pieces of my jewelry because I read that she likes shiny things. And yes, that's what I did. I have been struggling with finances last month, and as soon as I did that obviously, I let the candle fully burn out and did not touch the offering until it burnt itself out I just got some work. Like, as soon as it happened! And I was super surprised like, how did it even happen?

So, I did something similar today again, but a little better, so to say. This time I carved her name on the candle (I don't know if that's the right way, please correct me if I am wrong). This time I cut the fruit for her and offered milk because I read that you can offer that, and I had it at home. I kept the coins again, some jewelry, and I also kept my tarot cards around her to be blessed by her energy.

This time, the candle flame burnt so bright and big it was huge and it burnt out pretty quickly compared to last time. And as it was burning again, I got a lot of work, which I am really grateful for. This time, I think I also read her a prayer, which obviously I got from online.

I do not know what I am doing right now, so I am really sorry if any of this is not what I am supposed to do. Well, now I would really appreciate if anyone can tell me if I did something that I should absolutely not do, and if someone can just help and tell me what I should add like any kind of food that I can add, or anything I should absolutely not offer. Any kind of guidance is much appreciated.
