If you saw a sign prophesied in Qur'an/Hadith would you believe

I had this debate with a friend and I was surprised his answer was no.

In your current state, if you saw one of the signs e.g the emergence of the beast that speaks to people/Dajjal/Yajuj and Majuj would you believe them?
