[Devil May Cry 5] Is the Platinum really that hard? Thinking of doing it after RE4

Hey everyone,

I’ve been working through Ghost of Tsushima right now, and after that I plan on doing Resident Evil 4. Eventually I really want to go for the Devil May Cry 5 Platinum — but man, it looks tough.

For anyone who’s done it — how bad is it really? I’ve heard the S-ranks and higher difficulties can be brutal, especially with the “no damage” style requirements.

I was able to finish Elden Ring, so I’ve got patience for challenging games, but I’m wondering if that kind of experience helps here or if DMC5 is just a totally different type of difficulty.

Also, not gonna lie — Dante is just such a badass that I really want to master his combat style properly instead of button-mashing. 😎

Would you guys say the DMC5 Platinum is worth it, or should I mentally prepare myself for pain?
