Great to meet you. So over 6 years ago when I was in medical school by pure chance I met someone I wanted to grow close to. It’s rare for me since I’m guarded by nature. I have a lot of friends but prefer my alone time. Yet here I was spending an obscene amount of time chatting, calling and joking around with this person.

For various reasons things went south, and we parted ways. It’s been 4 years since we had a meaningful interaction and that vacuum has yet to be filled. I have dated and even fallen in love since then. But this is a different kind of dynamic. Someone who truly understands me and vice versa, without even needing to think. Someone who I can be my genuine self around.

And so here I am. I thought I’d post impulsively on the off chance I find a similar connection. Yes, at that time we did flirt a bit and feelings developed. I’m not opposed to that, but feel that sort of thing is best if it develops genuinely and isn’t forced. Which is why this is a SFW post. I’m also seeing someone (who is aware I’m posting this), so I’m not desperate for anything more than a true companion.

I’ve gone on for quite a while so I’ll try to sum this up. I’d prefer to share face pics and voice messages early on so we know who each other is. I’m interested in classics, fiction (I’m a novice writer), video games, various TV shows, swimming and running.
