Tinder on my boyfriends phone? 34M 24F

Hi everyone, I’ve been dating my boyfriend for just over 3 months and things have been going great. Until 2 days ago my coworker told me she saw him on tinder on September 24. I didn’t want to believe this and thought maybe it was somehow still showing up in the rotation. I watched him delete tinder from his phone about 2 months ago. But then I looked it up and found that they stop showing your profile after about a week of inactivity.

Then, we put the settings to his age and location and within 20 swipes we found him again. I brought this up to him and he pulled out his phone to show me that he doesn’t have Tinder installed on his phone. I told him to redownload it in front of me and show me that there are no new matches or messages within the last few months.

He refused and said that there would be nothing to show me and that I just have to trust him. He said that he is disappointed that I don’t “believe in him” the same way he “believes in me”.

How honest is he being? If there was nothing to hide, why wouldn’t he just redownload it and show me to ease my mind? I just don’t know if I can trust him any more. He could’ve set everything straight so easily by just showing me that I have nothing to worry about. And I don’t know if there is any way that Tinder could still be showing his profile after months of inactivity, it just doesn’t make sense to me. I want to believe him, but if he is telling the truth, why wouldn’t he just show me?
