Celebrity owned items

Has anyone had any luck selling items that were owned by a celebrity?

I purchased some jewelry from a celebrity estate sale a while back, and am looking for the best avenue to sell some of the items I am not keeping. I can provide some provenance (auction receipts and tags), however what kind of premium can be tacked on?

For instance, one of the items is a watch that is typically ~$1k, HOWEVER, it was owned by a significant Hollywood director and there are photos of him wearing it on set, which no doubt increase its value.

Trying to make sure I approach this sale the right way, I am sure there is a person out there for this thing, but unsure what is fair, and what will be successful.
