How to decorate white subway tile bathroom?
Our home we are purchasing has two bathrooms that are white subway tile through and through. White countertops, white subway tile backsplash, white subway tile shower, mini white subway tile on the floor, white painted vanity. I'm trying to think of them as a blank slate for decorating but am struggling. For the short term how would you decorate them? My first thought would be plants, but there are no windows and no natural light. My next thought would be nice colored towels/bath mat and maybe a color coordinated vase or something? My personal design style is something along the line of organic modern. I love natural woods and stone. These bathrooms are utilitarian farmhouse maybe? In the long run I would dream of stripping the white paint off the wood and restoring it to a wood color, new countertops with a natural stone, and some kind of natural stone for the tiles. But that is all years in the future so in the meantime I'd love some advice on how to trade overdone white subway tile to something organic.
