Horrible Tesla delivery experience in Finland

General

I finally picked up my brand-new Tesla Model Y, and while the car itself is amazing, smooth drive, great tech, everything I hoped for. However, the delivery experience was absolutely terrible.

During the delivery, the team assured me not once, not twice, not three times, but five times that they had checked the car and that I didn’t need to worry. They said that I only need to check outside if there are any bumps. Meanwhile, they were rude, impatient, and even asked why some of my friends came along to help pick up the car. Seriously? What kind of welcome is that?

To make matters worse, the trunk had winter tires in it, so I couldn’t properly inspect the interior. The Tesla team insisted everything was fine, so I didn’t think much of it. I even moved the tires outside to check the seats and interior, everything seemed okay at the time, so I didn’t look at the trunk closely.

The next day at home, I discovered a small tear in the fabric in the trunk. I reported it immediately, but Tesla refused to take responsibility since I hadn’t noticed it during delivery, despite the fact that their team repeatedly assured me it was all fine.

Overall, the car is great, but the delivery process in Finland was rushed, rude, and completely lacking customer care. The whole experience still feels like a startup vibe where the customer comes last. It’s disappointing, and it really leaves a sour taste despite how good the car is.

Has anyone else had a similarly bad Tesla delivery experience here in Finland? I will submit an official complain to the Delivery Operations Manager soon regarding this matter.
