Holding back on potential?
I’m 29 years old. I have my bachelors in cognitive science. Initially I wanted to be a school psychologist and my degree helped me get into education. I’ve been an instructional aide for almost 5 years and I loved it at first but now I really want anything to do with this field. Recently I’ve had an interest in the medical field, I’ve looked into medical interpreting, coding, sonography, but the one that’s caught my interest is becoming an LVN because of the patient to patient interaction and because it’s only a year long. However, the CC programs around me are all full and the only option left is private school which would cost around $20k. I’m scared of taking out such a big loan/ paying out of pocket and failing out of the program. My husband is supportive of any decision I make and we don’t have kids which is why I think this is a good time . Has anyone experienced anything similar or have any advice?
