Another CarPlay bug; unknown calls getting through with Drive Focus ON

Using iPhone 14 Pro with dongle wirelessly conected to Subaru (2019) Outback, iOS 26.0.1. Ask Reason for Calling turned on. Drive Focus enabled automatically, 10 people exceptions. ChatGPT seem outdated but suggests that Apple treats CarPlay as a connected device. That doesn’t explain why unknown callers get through when in CarPlay AND with Drive Focus enabled. Anyone have a fix to stop unknown callers in this situation? I have gone back the Silence Unknown Callers for now, will see if that works better.
