What are some solid 'okay' cars for someone on a budget?

My old car just kicked the bucket so i'm looking into buying something else, but money and time are both significant factors in the process, keeping it as cheap as I can. I'm pre-approved for an auto loan for $10k, but it has to have a clean title and be 2015 or newer in order to qualify.

I'd love to get one of the Old Reliables - Toyota Corolla, Camry, Honda Civic, Accord, etc - but the ones newer than 2015 around here are outside my budget. So, counting those out - what are some other cars that are at least decent, and would be within my budget? A solid 'yeah it'll work for a homebody who has a short work commute, won't suddenly brick on you or cost you an arm and a leg to repair' kinda car. A 'well it gets a B- for effort' kinda car.
