Falling to pieces

Hi all So if you've been following im aiming to learn to play the piano at my wedding in 21 months!

Now I only started 3 weeks ago so I totally understand im brand new at this. Im using the simply piano app and very quickly its kind of expecting me to know how to read sheet music its took all the hints away (finger numbers on top of the actual notes) this is causing me to simply fail time and time again.

Along side simply piano I clearly need additional help my question is would reading piano books help? Like the beginner books etc.

Please dont think im giving up because im not im just looking for additional help.

Im trusting the process regardless of how frustrated im getting at struggling to do what simply piano says is the basics 😅
