Insurance payments!

I passed my test last Tuesday and will be getting a car on sunday. Obviously i’m doing some insurance quotes to get ideas etc. Found a car I really like and will hopefully be getting it Sunday if it’s still available. My issue is, i’m doing insurance quotes with Hastings Black Box as this is what my boyfriend uses and it’s great. For some reason when i do the quote online it’s only giving me an option to pay annually. I can’t afford £1800 straight out of pocket but can pay the monthly instalments. My boyfriends is paid monthly so i don’t understand why i don’t had this option? I’m only seeing this with hastings. I’m not sure if i need to call up instead as this was what my boyfriend did. Any advice on why this is happening? TIA😊
