Sharpness management on lower affinity SnS builds?

Meta build for SnS is to use Master's Touch, which makes sense because the meta SnS build is very high affinity.

With Savage Omega, people are slotting comfort skills over affinity boosting skills just to stay alive.

At what point does it make sense to ditch master's choice and just go razer shap/handicraft etc. etc.?
