My mum thinks I’ve also given birth to her son

My brother is 27 year old with a full time job and a flat. Somehow, my mother thinks he’s incapable of looking after himself. I am also an adult with a full time job. But somehow, I’m called selfish and uncaring for not messaging and calling him to ask how he is. Has HE ever picked up the phone to message me?? The guy doesn’t know whether I’m alive or dead. We are perfectly happy with that. Last time I checked, no one came out of MY womb. My responsibilities ended when I moved out, he does not need babysitting when he’s pushing 30 soon.

I wish my mother focused more on her life, picked up a hobby other than being a mother. Or stop making me out to be an uncaring sibling when I have sacrificed my younger years to look after kids that aren’t mine.
