Are the “your phone has been hacked” popups on dodgy websites true?

Was on a website today and it popped up and because I’m a really anxious person it’s stressing me out 🥴 I didn’t click on it though I refreshed the browser and it took me to another site and after that I just closed the browser tab will I be okay?
