Endo follow up

I was able to get in because of a cancellation this morning at 10. The doctor said that my adrenals look good and she doesn’t see any issues on my MRI scan with my pituitary. I honestly don’t remember exactly what she said, but essentially she doesn’t think it’s secondary adrenal insufficiency.

I think I’m going insane. How can I have all these symptoms and not have the diagnosis. She was very thorough so I believe what she told me. I don’t think it’s normal to feel like this. She said that she felt that because I had injections in my knees and one in my shoulder that that had caused the drop in cortisol. She thinks that my adrenals are working normally, but the steroids in my system threw the tests off.

She suggested I get tested for micro nutrient deficiency. I already have my malabsorption and anemia from gastric bypass in 2017. I am overweight about 300 pounds. But I have never been this exhausted in my life. I’m just really confused right now.

She wants me off the hydrocortisone. And in two weeks, they will do another ACTH test. And see where we are after that. I think this is good news but also I’m still confused.
