On 66 West this morning just before the Tysons exit, I looked in my rear view mirror to see a car barreling at me and the car to my left at what had to be 100mph - absolutely no exaggeration.

My immediate reaction flipped my stomach. I legitimately thought they were going to run us off the road or kill us, because it’s only 2 lanes and me and the other guy in the left lane were blocking his way. He was coming so fast, we couldn’t have moved out of the way if we wanted to.

To avoid smashing us into road kill, he drove on the left shoulder, at again, a guesstimate, at 100mph to get around us. My heart was racing.

He then flew from the left lane over to the exit to get off on Leesburg Pike at Tysons. I was taking the same exit. I pulled up next to the car at the next light and rolled down my window when I saw it was 4 young kids (teens, couldn’t have been more than 20). I didn’t tell, shoot, or use profanity. I told him they’re going to kill someone and that’s not okay to risk anyone else’s life for an adrenaline high joyride.

They just all rolled up their windows and looked laughing/embarrassed. They took the right into the Pimmit Hills neighborhood

I’ve never shouted at anyone or had an altercation of any kind. I let road incidents go because it’s not worth it, and people are crazy. It’s like it was instinct to tell these kids how scared I was.

if you know this car, please spread it far and wide. I hope to find their parents, neighbors, other friends, or teachers. Anyone that can tell them how they could have killed any one of us.
