The existence of the universe proves there is an afterlife
THIS IS NOT A POST ABOUT RELIGION
Hi all
I wanted to run something by this sub, as I believe the existence of the universe more or less PROVES that there is a creator, and thus, most likely some kind of afterlife.
Hear me out.
Energy CAN NOT form from nothing. It is scientifically impossible under all circumstances for energy to just "happen" for no apparent reason within the laws of our universe.
Trouble is, the expansion of the universe, which we know is happening, requires energy to be happening, and would have required energy to even start in the first place, i.e., the big Bang. Something we know happened because it's the only possible explanation, more or less. And the big Bang of course, came from what's called the cosmic singularity. An incredibly dense point containing all matter(which also can't have existed forever scientifically and would require something to create it) and energy within it.
It is impossible for this singularity to have just appeared from nothing. Can't happen. It is scientifically impossible under all circumstances for anything around us to exist without some outside creator.
So in summary, the scientific consensus about the existence of literally everything in the universe is that all matter and energy just popped into existence from nothing, seemingly with no in universe reason. It just happened.
Obviously, that isn't possible.
Thus, as far as I'm concerned, the meer existence of everything in the universe is solid, irrefutable proof that there is a creator outside our universe that plays by different rules.
This fact then allows us to make a lot more sense of things like NDE's, recieving signs from the other side etc.
It also doesn't interfere with anything we currently know about science and consciousness, regarding how our brains work and how consciousness is produced.
Allow me to explain.
If what I purpose is accurate, It's likely that our brains are merely receivers of consciousness, rather than the Creator of it. Kind of similar to how our cell phones work. The cell tower gives off the signal and the phone uses it for whatever it's using it for. This theory fits perfectly within what we know about the brain, as well as it also solves the hard problem of consciousness (look it up) without disrupting everything else we know.
Look back to the cell phone comparison. If you receive a brain injury, your receiver is no longer working correctly, which would still 100% explain why certain functions are lost after a serious brain injury. If you step on your phone, there's a good chance the things within it will be damaged, and thus won't function correctly anymore. Resulting in lag, things not wanting to work properly, etc. Same thing applies to the brain.
This can also explain why death is necessary.
If you've ever played a video game where you can spawn things in, like a tycoon builder game or something like that, Beyond a certain point, depending on your computer's abilities, too many items or living things in the game will result in extreme lag. The only way to combat this? To remove some of the things from the game. If you remove enough, the lag will stop and you will have room as a result to add more things later.
Life and death, death leading into the next generation.
The existence of the universe proves that there's a Creator, so knowing that there is factually some kind of creator, we can very easily make sense of near-death experiences, visions, ghost stories, etc. All of it works beautifully within the confines of in universe science, and it doesn't disrupt it at all.
I'd love to hear your thoughts on this.
