White tissue clumps
This is the only time I've ever made a reddit post, and it's out of pure desparation. Recently around my period, I've been experiencing lots of clumpy white, fleshy clumps. I notice them especially because I use a menstrual cup, so I find these clumps all around and over the cup. I haven't noticed more period pain or anything, and last month my normal period kicked in with expected flow so I didn't worry. I've had an IUD for a few years, and my period now tends to be regular with 6 days total, about 2-3 heavier flow days with light flow on the remainder.
This month, my period was more like several days of spotting with one light flow day, and now those clumps have shown up again and the blood stopped. I've been struggling with a stronger smell recently (not fishy or anything, just stronger than its been before) and I had a UTI a few months ago, so I figured it might just be pH thrown off by my bodywash or something so I've been using vaginal pH gels to see if that would help. It helped a little bit, but my smell is still stronger. Besides that and these clumps around my period, I haven't seen a crazy change in discharge. Maybe thicker, more grainy and less frequent discharge but I also tend to be dehydrated so that probably doesn't help that.
I would consider my hygiene very good as I don't wash inside with soap, just around the outside with water everyday to make sure there's no residue/smegma. I just feel so lost because it feels like all these problems (stronger smell, white chunks) started after the UTI, which I was treated for, but I just don't know what the problem is and I don't want to go to a doctor if it's something I can fix without pills and things, which I fear would just cause another problem again. I don't have any pain with urination, consistant itchiness, weirdly colored discharge, etc. I've been very distressed this month due to a terrible breakup + school, but I'm not sure if it would have these sorts of effects.
I feel so lost and gross and confused. Please help! I don't know what to do, and I can't find anything that lines up with my experience. It's not a decidual cast or anything, I checked. I'm so lost
