Has anyone used Galloway parts for Ruger EC9s?

Was gonna trade in my Ec9s for a higher capacity compact but don’t think I’d get much for it so I figure instead of getting a new pistol I’ll look into upgrading this one.

Looking at getting the guide rod assembly and wondering if anyone has done this upgrade? And if so how does it feel and has it held up?

Their website says their recoil spring is 19lbs and the stock (Lc9s) spring is 17, would that lower felt recoil? Would that increase the chance of problems or make me have to get a specific ammo? Thanks!
