TMW you realize you're roleplaying with yourself

Me: writes a relatively long post leading up to a climax, pushing the plot forward but stopping at a pivot point to let my partner act and drive the story as well.

Partner: reacts. opens door. "hmm, I wonder what you'll find in there, (my character's name)."

Mildly oversimplified version of what happened to me. (Now I need to reply... if I can even find the urge...)
