5-6 years of 3-5 tbsp a day

I honestly don’t even know what the gpd would be. But after 5-6 years of 3-5 tbsp, sometimes more, rarely less; I jumped to one tablespoon (and lesser one at that) about a week ago.

The power of speaking it out loud is potent. And I suspect writing it as well. So here I am. The myriad symptoms of withdrawal are intense. I also had shingles six weeks ago and it was a bad case - my nervous system is completely fried. Lethargy, chest pain, diarrhea, very little and restless sleep, ear clicking/popping, muscle spasms, light headed…

I ended up telling my doctor and he was quite supportive. All these symptoms trigger anxiousness that something deeper is wrong. I have good moments though for sure.

I’m not running a traditional taper, but it’s what works well for me. One a day, sometime in the afternoon. Probably for a few more weeks, while periodically lessening the tablespoon.

Reading success stories and mid-struggle stories do help.

We gotta take care of our nervous systems; it’s the foundation of our entire health. I feel like I have lots more to say, but for now I just wanted to move from week-long lurker to sharing my story because, it fucking helps reading others. Speak it out loud to someone, I never thought I would - but IT FUCKING HELPS. I just want to feel good and normal again. Whoomfta, stay strong friends ❤️
