Has anyone ever moved their toddler from a crib straight to a queen bed? Is this crazy?
Toddler is 26 months old and still in her crib. Her room has her crib as well as a queen bed (that I slept in for the first 6months). We currently use the queen for stories and cuddles before bed.
Anywho I just found out I’m pregnant again so trying to determine what we should do for the future sleeping arrangement. Thinking it may be easiest to transition her to a “big girl” bed prior to new baby’s arrival.
I don’t want to buy another crib. Wondering if transitioning straight to a queen bed with safety slates is a silly idea. Should we get a little toddler bed instead? And continue to have a “spare” queen in her room until she is older?
I may be overthinking this but would love some insight.
