How do I unlock the tasks for the gods?

Hey, I have picked up my first and only run of Hades after years of not playing as I would like to actually finish the game before playing Hades II. I have found Persephone and maxed out five hearts with all the gods (with two being six). But I’m struggling to remember what to do now. I have looked up and I know I need to get more gods with six hearts to finish the last task to get the epilogue. A) how do I trigger the six heart events? Is it just random after I have five and pick up a boon? B) ares for example, has his six heart unlocked but not filled in. Is there a way to check if I’ve partly filled in his task?

Thank you, I just love the games story but all that has come back to me is the gameplay and controls.
