Greetings, community.

I don't have extensive knowledge on the subject of academic papers and the like, but I read somewhere that, in relation to drug research, and specifically in the field of drugs, only double-blind studies are reliable sources for understanding the activity of the substances studied...

How much truth is there in this?

So, does this mean that to understand the activity and effectiveness of certain molecules, you should only read double-blind articles?

What about other methodologies, and (by the way) which ones also provide good information?

This is my question, and thanks in advance to anyone who can explain.
