# ⚠️ Before You Read, a Quick Disclaimer:

This is a symbolic and intuitive reading using tarot as a narrative lens for political insight. It is not a factual allegation, prediction, or diagnosis. Public figures are referenced based on their roles in the collective imagination and news cycles, not personal characteristics. Interpretations are offered for entertainment, critique, and creative exploration.

# Row 1: What Pete Hegseth Is Paranoid About

1. **Ace of Pentacles** — He fears that what was once a gift (money, position, power) has become a liability. The deal that elevated him may now mark him for exposure. What was planted as opportunity now feels like evidence waiting to be uncovered.
2. **Page of Wands** — The threat is internal: an impulsive underling, a young MAGA foot soldier, or some inexperienced “patriot” with just enough recklessness to blow the lid off something they don’t fully understand.
3. **The Star** — His fears aren’t totally delusional. He fears being seen, framed, or sacrificed as the next poster boy of the movement. The paradox: he craves the spotlight but fears what might be revealed once he’s in it.

**Summary**: Pete fears **becoming the movement’s next cautionary tale** — undone not by enemies, but by allies too clumsy or eager to control.

# Row 2: How It’s Affecting His Job

1. **Knight of Wands** — He’s charging forward fast and hot, favoring bold, theatrical gestures over thoughtful strategy. His paranoia manifests as **reactionary policy**, aggressive defense stances, and a thirst to show dominance before anyone calls him weak.
2. **8 of Pentacles + 5 of Swords + 10 of Swords** — His internal leadership is crumbling:
   * **8 of Pentacles**: He’s micromanaging like a craftsman inspecting every coin, trying to “mint” loyalty.
   * **5 of Swords**: But beneath the surface, it’s all backstabbing and hollow victories.
   * **10 of Swords**: There’s someone in his circle who will bury a knife in his back — and he suspects it.

**Summary**: Pete is suffocating his staff with loyalty tests, and in doing so, he’s planting the very betrayal he fears.

1. **4 of Pentacles + Queen of Wands** — He projects radiant, queen-like confidence in public (Queen of Wands), but privately he’s clutching his power with white knuckles (4 of Pentacles). He’s terrified of being irrelevant — or worse, expendable.

**Summary**: He wears charisma like armor, but beneath the robe, he’s shackled by fear.

# Row 3: Fallout and Blowback

1. **The Magician** — When it starts to fall apart, he’ll respond with spin. Control the narrative. Cast illusions. He’ll try to conjure loyalty and power out of thin air using charm and old tricks.
2. **The Moon** — But he’ll be walking blind through a fog of conspiracies, half-truths, and psychological traps. The more he doubts, the more dangerous the game becomes. Reality and fear blur.
3. **Two of Swords** — At the end of it all, he’ll be frozen. Caught between options, unsure who to trust, **paralyzed by the weight of his own defense mechanisms**. The loyalists will wait and watch. The opportunists will choose someone else.

**Summary**: Pete’s instinct to control will backfire. The fog he creates will cloud his own vision. And when the knife comes, he won’t know which direction to raise his sword.

# 🕳️ What the Spread Reveals

This isn’t just a personal spiral — it’s a microcosm of Trump-world paranoia. Pete Hegseth isn’t retreating because he’s weak. He’s fortifying because he knows the MAGA machine rewards performance and punishes hesitation. He’s scrambling to outpace a future where he’s either the next martyr or the next scapegoat.

And in this version of the movement — where even friends can’t be trusted — the real enemy is the one who knows what you were promised.
