Looking for more movies like Zodiac (2007)

Hey everyone,
I recently rewatched Zodiac (2007) and it completely blew my mind all over again. The atmosphere, the investigative depth, the slow-burn tension — everything about it just hits perfectly for me. I'm now on the hunt for other movies with a similar vibe.

I’m looking for crime/thriller films that are:

• Slow-paced but deeply engaging
• Focused on investigation or real-life inspired cases
• Heavy on atmosphere and tension rather than action
• Bonus points if there's a strong sense of dread or ambiguity

Stuff I’ve already seen and liked:

• Prisoners (2013)
• Memories of Murder (2003)
• Mindhunter (series)
• The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (Fincher’s version)
• Se7en (obviously!)

Would love to hear your personal favorites or any hidden gems that match this tone. Appreciate any recommendations!
