Hey everyone,
I sold a pair of sneakers on Vinted to a buyer in France. The buyer mentioned it was a gift for their daughter, so to be nice I shipped the parcel the very next day (October 3rd) — even though I didn’t have to rush.

I dropped it off with An Post (Ireland), uploaded proof of postage, and the tracking clearly shows it was handed over. But for some reason, Vinted hasn’t updated the tracking yet, so the transaction got marked as “suspended.” I’ve already contacted Vinted support, and they told me they’re sorting it out.

The buyer has been messaging nonstop saying things like “the order hasn’t even left yet” and that they’re “starting to have doubts about me,” even though I’ve provided screenshots, tracking info, and have a solid selling history with fast shipping.

International shipping (Ireland → France) can take a week or more, and Vinted tracking delays are super common. I’ve done everything right and even went out of my way to ship early as a favor.

Am I in the wrong here or is the buyer just being impatient?

TL;DR: Buyer said item was a gift, I shipped next day to be nice. Vinted tracking is delayed, now buyer thinks I’m lying even though I have proof of postage and tracking.

Buyer being impatient even though I shipped next day — am I in the wrong?
