Is my dog walking rate too high? ($20 for 30 minutes)

Hi everyone! I’ve been pet sitting since 2023 and recently started offering dog walks ,30 minutes for $20. My rate includes transportation time and gas between clients. I’m experienced, trustworthy, and flexible with pets’ needs, plus I always clean up after the dogs and usually take them to a park or trail for their walk.

Someone saw my flyer and commented, “$40 an hour to walk a dog?! That’s outrageous! That’s more than nurses and teachers make!how is yout service that much valuable than theirs "

Now I’m second-guessing myself. Is my price actually too high, or is that a normal rate for dog walking?
