What are some of the most memorable assignment submissions you've had from your students that show unmistakable signs that they used ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Claude or another AI LLM to provide unauthorized aid on their assignments?
Any such memorable assignment submissions that happen to also be hilarious is especially encouraged.
What grade(s) were they in?
What was the expected sophistication level of work you expected of that student who submitted an AI-assisted assignment? What was the sophistication level of the work they submitted that you surmised most likely came from an AI copy-&-paste job?
What was the parent-teacher conference conversation like with their parents/guardians in the aftermath? (Or the call to their home / work / cellphone?)
And how did you adapt your future assignments so that from then on, it would be harder for the students to get an AI LLM to do the assignment for them?
