Do you need Lightning Greaves and Swiftfoot Boots in blue?

I'm building [[Runo Stromkirk]] and I can't decide whether to run [[lightning greaves]] and [[swiftfoot boots]] or more counterspells. This deck is creature centered and [[krothuss]] is very vulnerable since he requires so much setup. What should I use?
