Competitive Crossplay

Hi all, I was trying to play competitive overwatch with a buddy who plays on PC a few days ago and we were sad to find out that regardless of rank or division it did not allow for it.

While I understand that the PC pool is far more competitive at the higher levels, I feel like it should allowed sub-masters. Even though I am on a controller, I know plenty of PC players that still opt to use controllers while running the game on PC and I can keep up with mouse and keyboard and hey, if I can't, I'll deal with the repercussions.

Since QP has become such a toxic environment and oftentimes games don't last for more than 5 minutes at a time, I'd love to see Overwatch introduce competitive crossplay throughout the lower elo's.

Am I crazy for thinking this?
