Ending help

So I started playing the watcher right before the 1.5 update came out, and so I was able to visit spinning top in every location she was at and rot almost (bar 5) of the regions. But then I - semi accidentally - started the weaver questline and now I have the ability to close portals but I can no longer spread the rot seemingly. Is there any way to fix this or will I have to restart the campaign to get this ending
