ADHD and Psycheldelics

Hello everyone, I wanted to hear your imput and experiences on having ADHD and trying psychedelics, if you have any.
For some context i recently started treatment for ADHD and it changed my life, I can now focus, work and get things done like never before. This coincided with me currently finishing up my degree and having the time to put aside work and fun has surprisingly also helped me go out more and try new things.

Some nights ago I got offered LSD for the first time, a small dose. I have always wanted to try psychedelics before, but now that things have changed quite a bit for me, I declined.
What if it would stall my mental progress? Or mess with the medication?
I understand there's ore to psychedelics other than the pysilogical so it got me thinking if perhaps I should forget about it for the moment and focus on grounding myself in this new functioning brain I'm experiencing.
Do you have any experience with ADHD and psychedelics? I would love to hear some other people talking about this as I rather get informed first before taking a decision.
