3 things I hope to see from the defense this week

3. Play the young guys in the backend. I wanna see Alex graham and rj sermons on the field. Both guys are finally fully healthy and practiced all throughout the bye week. This backend needs an infusion of athleticism and both will bring that. Graham will be a much needed prescene at rhe star and rj sermons is the most physically gifted player we have in the entire cb room. They will take their lumps but the vets simply are not getting it done. Guys like dj harvey have been a big letdown

4. Better run fighting. This defense get caught in pass rush mode too often and it led to sizeable holes in run defense. Agaisnt a run heavy team like Michigan gotta nut up and focus on stopping the run first

5. Use Eric gentry as an underwood spy. Bryce Underwood can absolutely burn you with his legs if you do not devote attention to stopping them. Letting a long athletic lb like gentry spy him on obvious passing downs should be the gameplan.
