Problems running KOTOR 2 on steam deck.

I have the restored content mod added from steam community page but running into two issues. 1 game randomly crashing ( which might be a kotor 2 thing) and sometimes starting the game and all the screen is black except a tiny corner brick image showing a small piece of the grey menu screen. Anyone know any work around or additional mods I need to add for a better playing experience?
