Question about name change on SS but not on passport and traveling in less than 6 days

Hello everyone,

I've been a naturalized citizen since 2017, but I've never updated my citizenship status in my SS until last week. The lady who updated my SS said that she couldn't fit my whole name in the application, so I had to modify it. For example, if my name is Giselle Jonette (2 first names) Zamora (middle name) Reyes (last name), she wasn't able to fit the first two names so I dropped my middle name and changed my name to Giselle (first name) Jonette (middle name) Reyes (last name).

My concern is that I have an upcoming trip in less than 6 days and my passport is not updated with the name on my updated SS card. With the government shut down, I'm worried that this is going to be hard to update my passport in time. Will this affect my ability to come back in the US after traveling internationally? Or as long as my current passport (with old name) matches my airline ticket name? I'm worried about this new administration and what they're looking for when people back from traveling outside of US.
