Is there an Ca Civil code that prevents tenants from removing a for sale sign from the property without permission? I’m selling the property and the tenant keeps removing the for sale sign. The cops are now claiming there’s nothing I can do. I met with officers at the house already and explained civil code 712/713 to them. Now I’m being told I have a present to them a civil code that states that he has no right to remove it.
