My dad only has function of one hand. What’s the best way for him to play?

:red_parrot: Discussion

So as the title says, My dad only has function of one hand. He used to play video games back when he could, SNES, arcade machines, the works. A long time ago he had an accident and lost all functional use of his left hand. He can’t grip, rotate, or open his hand in any way and ever since then his gaming has almost completely stalled even though he always wished he could play more with my brother and I. Outside of flight sims with a joystick, a few Wii & switch games, and of course his Atari classic (which has been the champion of one handed gaming for him) he’s really struggled with gaming and has always hinted at wanting to play Minecraft with my brother and I as we grew up playing it. We’ve tried a few things down the line hoping maybe an Xbox controller would work but he always struggled with it and mouse and keyboard proved a lot to handle at once in situations he had to try and move quicker. This leads me to my question:

What’s the best way for him to play? How can I set him up so he’d be able to hop on my friends and family realm? Has anyone else had similar experiences? What worked for you?

TLDR: dad can’t use his left hand at all beyond the wrist, how can I set him up so he can play without controller or mouse and keyboard?
