Placebo effect or real relief?

I've been suffering from migraines, tension headaches, and occipital neuralgia most of my life (in my 40s). Finally had my first round of Botox last Thursday. My doctor said most people don't get relief until the second treatment, and my friends who get it for cosmetic purposes say it usually doesn't do its thing until about a week after (I realize cosmetic and therapeutic are different doses).

I felt better almost immediately, and it's continued. I still have random shooting pains through my temple and ear at times, but they've been much less frequent, and my constant background headache has receded from a 5-6 to a 1-2. I haven't woken up with the hot poker in my eyeball once since the treatment.

I guess I'm just afraid to celebrate. Anyone else have results this quickly?
