Was the time glitch ever fixed?

Im referring to the glitch where on ios if you change the date on the phone it changes the time in the game. Im asking the question out of simple curiosity because i used to abuse this glitch because if done correctly it is INCREDIBLY overpowered but i stopped because it screwed up the calendar and trades.
