Just wondering.. Matchmaking. Since launch, left my session settings on public, not once have I received any random players? [Question about player/session interference also]
Just wondering if this is "normal", or if I'm understanding it all wrong. Since launch, I left the game on public. I haven't received one single random player looking to play alongside together. I figured either A, you need to queue for a campaign match in the matchmaking tab on the pause menu or B, everyone like me is stubborn and prefer to stay on absolute track with their progression and have others join their session, so as they have full control of the ins and outs of their current session. (that's a lot of sessions c ; ). I just found it odd, seeing as games like Remnant II if I put the game on public game party would max out in minutes.
On the interference question, when players join your session, are they able to change the active quest on you? I tested this with a buddy I actually met on this subreddit back when I was searching for coop buddies. You can in fact have someone change your active mission however, its most likely due if you have them as a friend on your friends list. Only reason I'm assuming this is because doing a google search apparently, players cannot change your active quest? But I don't know for 100% certain..
Post was a little longer than I expected (my bad). If anyone is interested in playing, I'll leave my credentials below.
