Is $1250 the avg price for teeth cleaning for dogs in Chicago?

Just moved here late last year and took my 2 dogs to a vet nearby and paid for an annual exam and their vaccines and blood work for teeth cleaning.

The blood work was $250/ea and the teeth cleaning & various expenses totals $1000/ea without any extractions.

$2500 is kind of a lot for me as an unplanned expense, just making sure it’s a fair price bc the exam fee seemed excessive at this vet and they did a lot of extra tests I don’t usually have when my animals don’t have any health problems or symptoms.

If I could pay a little less that would be great but considering they’ll need anesthesia, I just want to make sure they’re receiving really good care.
