Book recommendations for academy?

Looking to get a head start before going into a trooper academy next month. Are there any books or quick reads that helped you excel in the academics portion of the academy? Not really looking for any self-help or motivational reads. Idk if I should just wait until the material is given to me once I’m there, it’s just that I was a mediocre student in college and want to do things differently this time. Thanks
